It’s a basic organic compound contains Nitrogen atom bonded with Alkyl group.There are 3 types of amine which depend on the number of alkyl groups in one compound, for example primary amine contains only one alkyl group R-NH₂, while secondary amine contains two alkyl groups R₂-NH then tertiary R₃-N.
